Emily A. Burr, CRNP grew up in the Florida panhandle. She completed her undergraduate degree at Vanderbilt University and then spent 2.5 years in Nicaragua as a Health Educator with the Peace Corps. She went on to receive her BSN in Nursing from the University of Florida, then moved to Baltimore where she received a Master of Science in Nursing degree from the Johns Hopkins University School of Nursing. She also completed a Master's in Public Health at the Johns Hopkins University's Bloomberg School of Public Health. She has been working in pediatrics in the Baltimore area since 2010 and is fluent in Spanish. In her "spare time" Emily enjoys spending time with her husband and two boys at their various sporting events, hiking area trails, gardening and painting.
