The AAP is a professional organization dedicated to the health and well-being of children from infancy through young adulthood. Through research, education, and advocacy, the AAP supports pediatricians and families in providing high-quality pediatric care.

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) is a national public health agency dedicated to protecting health and preventing diseases. It provides up-to-date health information, disease prevention tips, and safety guidelines.

Vaccine Information

Our Vaccine Policy

At Little Oak Pediatrics, we follow the vaccine schedule that is recommended by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP)We firmly believe in both the effectiveness and safety of the currently recommended vaccines for children and adolescents. These schedules are continually studied and revised by experts in fields of medicine and immunology and public health.

We recognize that the decision to vaccinate your child may be an emotional one for some parents, and we will do everything we can to reassure you that vaccinating according to the recommended schedule is in the best interest of your child. We are always happy to sit down with you to answer any questions or concerns that you have about vaccine safety or your child’s vaccine schedule.
